iConnect Learning: An Android App for Childcare Staff to Record Child Development Observations
iConnect Learning is a free Android app designed for busy nursery practitioners to capture observations of every child's learning and development. This app links to the EYFS, Curriculum for Excellence, COEL, and Leuven Scales, which helps childcare staff create a more holistic view of child development. With iConnect Learning, users can capture observations and assessments with photos and videos, identify next steps, record meals and quantities, sleep times and checks, nappy changes, accidents, and group observations. This app also has an offline mode for when the user is out of Wi-Fi range. iConnect Learning allows childcare staff to publish pictures and observations to parents. Reports include cohort tracking, assessments, next steps, statement gap, and many more.
